From Silence
to a Movement
In 2019, Betty Kyogabirwe — born deaf and no stranger to exclusion — returned to Ntungamo with no funding but a clear purpose: to amplify voices, restore dignity, and expand opportunity for persons with disabilities.
What began as a response to exclusion has grown into a trusted, community-led movement delivering measurable change across livelihoods, education, health, and advocacy.
