SDU staff and management going through organisatin's Programme Documents with a consultant to help the oranisaton grow and develop as per NGO standards.
SDU took part in training District Union members for PWDS in collaboration with NUDIPU to increase the knowledge of union leaders about Rights of PWDS and inclusion
DCDO Appreciating SDU for great work during the HIV/AIDS project inception meeting . The project will reach 500 people with preventive messages aiming at reducing the rate of HIV transmission in Ngoma sub county

Through collaboration with Social Economic Data Center (SEDC) and TASO through Global fund two SDU staffs were training to collect data on health service delivery on Community Score Card. The data will give a true picture of the status of our health services. The data was collected in Kitwe Health centre IV, Rwashamaire HCIV, Rugarama HCIII and Mother Francisca
SDU community group for PWDs exhibit their craft materials during World AIDS per-event commemoration day in Ntungamo. The materials help them improve their income. However there is still a challenge of capital to invest in their Entrepreneurship business and the market for their produce is still very low. We need support to boost their skills for better products and increase the market base.
The SDU Programs Manager while in field to profile children with disability for psycho social support and encouraging their parents to educate their children with disabilities. Most children with disabilities in Ntungamo are neglected and denied right to education . SDU targets to support 100 children with disabilities in 2023 with scholastic materials and uniforms.
Photo was taken during High level Advocacy meeting graced by HON. Asamo Hellen Grace State minister for PWDS and elderly. The advocacy targeted the District top officials aiming at developing an inclusive society and observe the rights of the PWDs.
Support Disabled Uganda Under Community empowerment project is implementing a bar and liquid soap making project as an income generating activity to support PWDS improve their socioeconomic livelihood and reduce dependency syndrome. So far 20 Households have benefited from Nyanga Parish in Rubaare sub county have benefited from the project.
