WORLD AIDS DAY COMMEMORATION

The world over commemorated the International World AIDS day on 1st December , this years theme was" Ending inequalities among adolescent girls,young women and boys" When it comes to PWDS living wit HIV they squarely suffer , they get too much stigma and discrimination . their morbidity to reach the health facilities are compromised and this some times bring poor suppression. There is need to invest in bringing services for PWDS living with HIV closer and more sensitization to them to  reduce stigma.

Support Disabled Uganda is implementing a four months capacity building  project from Global fund under TASO in only two parishes of Kizinga and Kashenyi. The whole sub county needs this service to reduce the high spread of HIV especially among the PWDS and the adolescent boys and girls who are both in and out of school.
